• Equity in the arts and education

Their research and scholarship focuses on antiracism, decolonization, and Black feminist thought. Brandi’s writing can be found in The New York Times, Music Education Journal, the The Orff Echo, The Illinois Music Educator Journal, The Oxford Handbook of Care in Music Education, and on the Decolonizing the Music Room website.
